Mobile Phone

When you come to Pamplona, it is highly recommended that you come with a mobile phone that isn't locked to a mobile service provider from your home country. The most prominent mobile service providers are Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, and Yoigo. Each of these companies offer two main services, a post-paid service and prepaid service. Given that you are only coming for a semester or at most for the year, it is highly recommended you get a prepaid sim which can be reloaded in any supermarket. Some service providers even allow you to reload your balance online.

When I got to Spain, I got a prepaid sim plan "Superuser" from Vodafone for 15 euro a month (this requires a visit to any supermarket or Vodafone store to reload 15 euro). This includes calls for up to 60 minutes within Spain, unlimited texts to other Vodafone users or 60 normal texts to other service providers, and 1.2GB of internet data.

Email

When arriving to the University of Navarra, you will be given a unique email address (similar to your username for accessing the Wi-Fi on campus) which looks similar to "******@alumni.unav.es".This is where all the professors as well as faculty coordinators will be sending emails regarding tasks, reunions, special events, as well as updates for their respective classes or faculties.

International Committee

The international committee of the university are composed of students from various faculties as well as from various countries. These are full-time students who come from all walks of life and are open and friendly. They, along with the International Office, organize events and excursions to various parts of Spain as well as organize cultural events which encourage international students to be more involved in Spanish culture and way of life. Some trips that they have organized involve a trip to San Sebastian, a beach side city just an hour away from Pamplona, and a trip to the caves of Zugarramurdi.
